8 Days Lemosho Route - Detailed Overview
The 8-Day
Lemosho Route is one of the best Kilimanjaro climbing routes for trekkers
seeking high summit success, scenic diversity, and gradual acclimatization.
Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 5,895 meters (19,341 ft), offers an
unforgettable adventure through rainforest, Shira Plateau, alpine desert, and
Arctic summit zones.
The Lemosho
Route starts from the western slopes of Kilimanjaro, offering a remote and less
crowded trekking experience compared to other routes like Machame or Marangu.
This route is perfect for first-time climbers, adventure travelers, and
photographers, allowing for plenty of rest, photography stops, and spectacular
panoramic views.
